Iron Heart's take on the archetypal 1955 Levi's 501 silhouette, cut in their 14oz Japanese selvedge denim. Sanforized and one-washed after construction, this is the easy, break-in-ready entry point into Iron Heart's denim range, built with the same hardware and construction standards as the rest of the line.
Why This Denim is Special
A 100% cotton, right-hand twill weave with an indigo rope-dyed warp and white weft, woven from double-twisted yarn for added density and strength despite the mid-weight 14oz construction. Because it's sanforized and already one-washed, this fabric is ready to wear straight away, with no dramatic break-in period, while still fading naturally and developing character the more it's worn, like any other piece in the Iron Heart range.
Fit & Styling
Based on the 1955 Levi's 501, this cut carries a medium-to-high rise — slightly higher at the front than Iron Heart's relaxed tapered 888 — with a roomier seat and thighs and a fuller knee, tapering gradually from knee to hem. The classic five-pocket design makes this the most versatile, easiest-to-wear fit in the lineup, equally suited to boots or everyday footwear.

Sanforized 14oz denim, one-washed in an industrial machine after construction
4-button fly (one extra button than usual, due to the higher rise)
Iron Heart branded tack button at the waistband
Works Inc branded rivets, hidden at the rear pockets
Poly/cotton constructional stitching, single and double needle chain stitch
Belt loops anchored at three points, sewn into the waistband
Heavy cotton pocket bags, lined rear pockets
Selvedge ID on the side seam, fly, and coin pocket
1mm vegetable-tanned steerhide belt-through patch, stitched on all sides, with dyed Iron Heart graphic (repeated washing at high temperatures may cause some shrinkage/deformation of the leather)
No further shrinkage expected if care guidelines are followed; waist stretches back out about 1" with wear, other measurements proportionally
Care Instructions
Wash at 30°C on a low or no-spin cycle, then hang dry — never tumble dry.
